Psalm 91 Personalized
1) I that dwell in the secret place of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2) I will say to the LORD, You are “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in Whom I trust”.
3) For He will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
4) God will cover me with His feathers, and under His wings, I will find refuge; His truth shall be my shield and buckler.
5) I will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day
6) Nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7) A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me.
8) I will only look with my eyes and see the reward of the wicked.
9) Because I have made the LORD my dwelling place- the Most High, my refuge-
10) No evil shall be allowed to befall me; no plague will come near my tent.
11) For the LORD will command His angels to guard me in all my ways.
12) On their hands they will bear me up, lest I strike my foot against a stone.
13) I will tread on the lion and the cobra; the young lion and the serpent I will trample under my foot.
14) Because I hold fast to the Almighty God in love, The Lord will deliver me, He will protect me because I know His name.
15) When I call to God, He will answer me, the LORD will be with me in trouble; the LORD Almighty will rescue me and honor me.
16) “With Long life, the LORD will satisfy me and show me HIs Salvation”.

- You shall not be removed – The Lord will sustain you and carry you on His Shoulders.
- Nothing to fear because the Lord is surrounding you as mountains surround Jerusalem.
- The rod of the wicked will not fall on your lot because Almighty God is shielding you.
- The Lord will fill your life with goodness.
- The Peace of the Lord Jehovah Shall be upon you.
Brethren, trust in the Lord and you shall not be put to shame.

Before we talk about freedom, let’s talk about what is bondage?
Bondage is the state of being a slave- Lack of self will, choice, in-ability to doing what you want at a particular time. Things that can put us in bondage are People, sin, lack of money, sickness, self, society, Ignorance, the devil, and its entourage.
Freedom: The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.
In the book of Exodus, the Israelites are in the bondage of the Egyptians; The Egyptians set over taskmasters over the children of Israel to afflict them with their burden, the house for them EX. 1 vs 10 – 14 prevent the Israelites from serving the Lord.
Read John 10: 9-11 Jesus Christ says “I am the door by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. We can gain freedom only through Jesus Christ. Has sin put you under bondage John 1: 29 Behold! the Lamb of God which take away the sin of the world? Come to Jesus and receive total freedom.
John 8: 36; If the son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I am using this moment to invite you to give your life to Jesus Christ. Prayer
In Ex. 13 3-4 Moses remind the Israelites when they came out of bondage, how often do remember where Jesus Christ has brought you from? Remembering this will make you appreciate God more.
What is that thing enslaving you today as a woman, we are going to tell it to God?
Prayer Points:
- Thank God for the grace of being alive today.
- Ask God for the forgiveness of your sins.
- Ask for the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
- Ask for Wisdom from above.
- Ask God to open your eyes to see if there is an area of your life in which you are under bondage Ps 119 vs 18
- Ask God for deliverance. For marriage, children, your – self.
- Let the mark of the blood of Jesus, of divine favor and protection, be upon my life, home, children, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Song: I am free in Jesus’ name, I am free by the blood of the lamb my yoke is broken I receive my freedom, praise the Lord I am free in Jesus name.
